The White Star - A club to be proud about 1906 - 2011

Simple crop (small A)

Madeley White Star is an old established community football club steeped in more than a century of history . With accolades and support from National newspapers and footballing legends such as Sir Stanley Mathtews, it is no wonder that this club has been a proud bastion of local football. Raising money for good causes and supporting the local elderly folk, the club has previously united a community of mining, agricultural and pottery industry people. Today, with 10 teams across several leagues and age groups, it is rebuilding itself as a hub of local footballing talent. Players and families from outside the Madeley Parish area are welcome to join the club as it re-engineers its future. The White Star has already produced some outstanding winning teams and academy youth players for Stoke City and Port Vale.
